Dr. Kurt Linford was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from BYU–Idaho before attending the Howard University College of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2011. During dental school, Dr. Linford received the prestigious Dean’s Award for Clinical Excellence and Achievement in Operative Dentistry.

Following graduation, Dr. Linford served for five years with the Indian Health Service in Dulce, New Mexico. During this time, he developed extensive experience in all areas of dentistry, with particular focus on oral surgery, Implants,  pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. Working alongside skilled dentists and specialists allowed him to refine his clinical skills while serving the Native American community—an experience he remains deeply grateful for.

Dr. Linford is passionate about providing high-quality dental care and continually advancing his knowledge and skills. He stays current with the latest developments in dentistry by participating in study groups and attending seminars and continuing education courses across the country. He also enjoys incorporating modern technology and equipment into his practice to provide the best possible care for his patients.

After practicing in Jackson, Wyoming for several years, Dr. Linford purchased Alpine Dental Care in 2019. He has loved building relationships with patients and is honored to serve the families of the Star Valley community.

Dr. Linford and his wife, Tiffany, are the proud parents of three children who keep their lives full of activity and adventure. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Linford enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—riding dirt bikes and snow bikes, boating, and exploring the mountains hiking.
